They Remain Here Forever

Blackwood Manor doesn’t just haunt your dreams; it grants your deepest desires—at a price that lasts an eternity. Later, in a quiet coffee shop, the truth is about more than just a legend. It’s about what was left behind in the ashes.

This was my very first attempt at a ghost story mostly as an experiment to see if I could do it, I've always liked the idea of two people sat talking about a story to begin with in classic ghost story fashion, I still receive feedback today from people saying how much they enjoyed reading it.

A Christmas Wonder

This was just a short Christmas story written in December 2025, I wrote this just for a bit of fun really one day whilst I was working on my main book and suffering from writers block, it was snowing outside I was looking at the Christmas tree, listening to Christmas music and the idea came quite quickly so I quickly tried to write it in my note pad on my phone, made sure it made some sort of sense, then turned it into the story and I'm happy with how it turned out capturing the charm of a children's classic Christmas story.

Will be Available on Amazon December 2026

The Binding by

The Binding by "Author Neale Carter."

The Gradual Binding

The legend of St. Jude’s is simple: walk the graveyard path at midnight, don't look back, and claim the years the dead left behind.  Some stories are meant to be read. Others are meant to be escaped.

This is a short story I wrote by putting together bits of some stories I have tried to write but that never quite made it, it's essentially 3 stories gelled together and with a few changes I think it worked quite well. Another ghost story with a twist of course.

This is available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited Now

Room 9 - Lost In The Fog

Blackwood Heights is rubble. The wards are empty. But for a man nursing a whiskey at the end of the bar, nothing has changed. Room 9 is still calling—and his call is finally about to be answered. . .

Working in a care home I've always been around death and have always been fascinated by the idea of a ghost story set in a care home, I couldn't find one so I decided to write my own, it came together quite well drawing on my experiences of working in care and I received a lot of positive feedback.

Available on Amazon.

The Hosiery Problem - A New Universe Survival Guide Information Novella

Your laundry isn't lost. It’s been "recalibrated."A Sock-Vole is 40% static electricity, 60% pure spite, and the sole reason you own 47 single socks. Before the universe gets really weird, you need to understand the legal dangers of a missing heel-grip and why your dryer is a portal to an intergalactic felony.

Consider this your mandatory briefing. A hilarious novella

This is a change of pace and a little humorous sci-fi novella it was supposed to be a little side story to accompany a big sci-fi book I've been working on but this project has been slightly sidelined for now

Available on Amazon

A Warning To Those Who Refute The Dark

Arthur Penhaligon makes a career out of mocking the dead

But after tonight

Everything will change . . .

For a while, I've had the idea of a ghost sceptic having the tables turned on him and I really enjoyed writing this one.
